This is raw honey harvested near around chiuri forest from different parts of Nepal espicially hilly areas. Farmers keep bee hives of generic bees (Apis mellifera or Apis cerana) near chiuri forest so that bees can collect pollens form chiuri (Diploknema butyracea) flowers during blossom season. This honey has distinct taste of chiuri and usually crystallizes even in summer. Like every organic raw honey, this honey also as an anti-microbial and immune boosting properties.
